The Precision Twist E3302MV series of end mills are a regular length, square end, two-flute design are made of carbide with a TiAlN finish are used for high speed machining with best performance in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and unalloyed titanium.
TiAIN is a multi-layer coating applied by PVD coating technology, which exhibits high toughness and oxidation stability. These properties make it ideal for higher speeds and feeds, while at the same time, improving tool life. It is recommended to use TiAlN when machining dry and you can operate at speeds up to 100% higher than uncoated end mills.
